Final design brief

Identify an instance (site/situation) in which a particular value (or struggle among values) is evident. Consider the actors/factors involved – materiality, activities, geography, temporality, histories, cultures, biotopes, (non)humans, etc. Your task is to design for one or more observers/participants to reassess his/her value judgements and/or to become engaged in an activity that alters the mechanisms through which value(s) are constituted. Perhaps exposing, amplifying, redistributing, recording, erasing, explaining, multiplying value(s)... Your design should involve the intervention of an artefact/thing, or set of artefacts/things, that relates to the value(s) identified, in order to alter observer/participant experience.

Project name
WIN ÅRSTA WEATHER HAIRSTYLE COMPETITION 2009

Social media for participation in the Årsta Field debate

Description

There is a number of different aspects of wind symbolism. Because of its characteristic bluster it is symbol of empty-headedenes, fickleness and instability. It is also an elemental force belonging to Titans, which speaks strongly enough for its blind violence. On the other hand wind is synonimus with Breath and consequently with the spirit, a heaven-sent
spiritual influx.

...

When wind occur in dreams, they herald the imminence of some important event or change about to take place.

Reflections

I have learned loads of new expressions. I realized again how social media works quick, in period of few days I got so many responses, I was very pleasantly supriced. I hope this story does not end with end of the exhibition. I got so many links. I can go further on now.
